Triple Threat Show 5
Recorded: September 6-7, 2007.
A lot of news, review of Tiger Woods 08, Blue Dragon, dead systems
There was grand discussions about the fact that two (2) systems (Ross and Wes) died when playing Tiger Woods 08. Excitement is building for Halo 3 and Orange Box and we discuss the Orange Box on this show. Halo 3 preview show will be on September 20 with a big Halo 2 tournament for the midnight sale on the 24th - 25th. I lamented that no one will play me in chess and we discussed EA sports a lot during this show.

Parting is such sweet sorrow
My Xbox has been sent to the red ring repository of McAllen, TX. I waived goodbye to the old friend knowing I will never see it again and wished it a quick and uneventful journey. Very quick, I hope. Awaiting your return.....

Through the looking glass (of a test tube)
While I was preparing for this week's show, I came across an article that piqued my interest. A University of Iowa (go Hawks!) professor is beginning a study on adult cognition and people who play video games. The study is looking for people age 21-80 to participate. Sounds fun, doesn't it. Of course, I am not sure of the details, but plan to give the guy a call and will report on it during this week's show.
